• Perform detailed analysis of the assigned territory to identify, assess, and develop relevant centers for diagnosis and treatment • Develop, own and execute Territory and Account plans, including customer segmentation and targeting, in line with commercial strategies in partnership with RSM, Marketing, and Medical Affairs • Achieve pre-launch and post-launch KPIs, including sales and volume targets • Drive patient identification, diagnosis and referral rates by executing a territory strategy and account specific plans • Develop trusted relationships with a portfolio of customers to ensure competitive advantage, after developing a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements • Establish and maintain a contact with key customers and provide necessary services to ensure access at site of care, and that logistics are in place to administer product • Plan and execute local meetings (Group Meetings and Peer-to-Peer Meetings) to drive treatment and diagnosis rates as well as brand choice • Represent Alnylam at local, regional, and national events and congresses • Serve as a link of communication between key customers and internal teams • Liaise and collaborate with relevant internal stakeholders such as Medical Affairs, Business Operations, and Marketing • Timely and accurate reporting and continuous diligent maintenance of the CRM database (Veeva). • Operate on daily basis in a compliant manner with local regulatory / code requirements • Ensure that both he/she operates at all times according to both internal standards and relevant local regulations and rules such as the JPMA’s Code of Practice. • Perform continuous monitoring to develop scientific knowledge of products and environment for themselves and their team. • Report adverse events and product complaints according to internal pharmacovigilance procedures.
Medical Representative (MR) certification. 7+ years in pharmaceutical sales. Proven top 20% sales performance over the last 3 years. Cardiovascular experience strongly preferred. New product/indication launch experience preferred. Experience in primary, specialty, and rare disease care preferred. Large and small pharma experience preferred. Willingness to travel, including weekends; valid driver’s license. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). CRM experience (Veeva preferred).
