• Lead regional sales strategy (including a new launch strategy) and the execution in a region, in alignment with core brand strategies. • Set regional action plans and ensure regional goals and tertial performance targets are effectively met and regularly tracked in the team. • Lead, coach, and manage Territory Planning and the activities based on Key Account Plan including peer-to-peer program, KOL management, and promotional activities. • Lead and coach KAM in an efficient and productive manner to reach set targets and goals. • Drive referrals into diagnosis / treatment centers as well as brand differentiation from the competition for revenue growth. • Conduct performance reviews at the end of performance periods, with appropriate supporting documents. • Allocate and manage resources (local activities and funding) to maximize ROI. • Operate on daily basis in a compliant manner with local regulatory / code requirements • Ensure that both he/she and his/her direct reports operate at all times according to both internal standards and relevant local regulations and rules such as the JPMA’s Code of Practice. • Perform continuous monitoring to develop scientific knowledge of products and environment for themselves and their team. • Report adverse events and product complaints according to internal pharmacovigilance procedures
Proven track record in pharmaceutical sales. Preferred: 3+ years as people manager in commercial roles. Demonstrated commercial leadership, regardless of manager status. Experience launching new products/indications. Willing to travel 80% (including overnight/weekends); valid driver’s license. Experience in primary, specialty, and rare disease care. Experience with both large and small pharma companies preferred. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). CRM experience (Veeva preferred).
