■部署の説明/Explanation of division
Financial Control & Management Division is in charge of matters concerning accounting, expense control, financial and regulatory reporting, taxation, management reporting, as well as planning and analysis.
In Financial Control & Management division, this position supervises a team of management reporting to
1) make sure all required deliverables are completed on a timely manner
2) establish good working relationship inside and outside of Finance area
3) suggest senior managers and draft the key topics for management reportins
4) lead business plan discussion by appropriately understand the group requirement and translate to relevant areas
5) manage stakeholders' expectation by understands their requirements

・Provide timely and insightful reporting covering not only financial information but also relevant quantitative and qualitative information related to business operations, market and industry development, and others, to other non-Finance areas, the Management Team, Group, etc., to equip these stakeholders’ with the right and relevant information facilitating everyday decision and steering of the company towards the established targets in the long term.
・Contribute to the specific and ad-hoc reporting needs of external parties working with other company divisions
・Lead overall business plan process and submission, and accordingly monitor actual results (forecasts) vs the approved plans and/ or budgets

Key Responsibilities　職務の役割責任
・Perform overall financial analysis by closely working with other Finance teams (e.g. actuaries, financial reporting, investment planning, strategic sourcing) and deliver solid financial reports satisfying management needs
・Appropriately communicate with other non-Finance areas, timely and appropriate acquisition of necessary information
・Lead regular forecasting, annual planning and budgeting process
・Be the primary contact for Group finance on IFRS financial targets and analysis needs, including managing their expectation, and facilitate the execution of changes required in the Finance area to meet the agreed Group needs and expectations

<Experience, skill and knowledge>
・Experience working in management reporting and business planning
・Excellent quantitative and qualitative skill and analytical skill, strategic and critical thinking
・Basic understanding of accounting rules - IFRS/ JGAAP
・Basic actuarial knowledge
・Strong in building good working relationships, collaboration skill
・Must be bilingual (English and Japanese)
・Good understanding of life insurance financials
・University degree in Accounting or Finance or MBA related fields
・Highly motivated and good organizational and time management skills
・Strong team management skills and excellent leadership
